How it works
Rotate PDF turns every page by 90, 180 or 270 degrees and re-saves the file with the new orientation baked in, so it opens the right way up everywhere, not just in the viewer you happened to use. The page content is preserved exactly; only the orientation and page geometry change.
When to use it. Use it when a scanner or phone camera has saved a document on its side or upside down, which is common with auto-fed scanners and quick desk snaps. Fixing the rotation once means the file prints correctly, reads properly on a phone, and sits straight when you merge it into a larger PDF.
Limits. Rotate turns every page by the same angle in one pass; per-page rotation, for a document where only a few pages sit sideways, is on the roadmap. It works on standard PDFs; an encrypted file needs unlocking first.
